Known for his Bhakti(devotion) Ramadasu remained in the popular imagination of telugu people with his kirtanas which can be heard in every household all over Andhra Pradesh. His life is a shining example of what a common man can do when he has the will to perform divine acts. The temple in Bhadrachalam is a testimony to the fact that devotion to Lord Rama is the ultimate goal to achieve in life.

Bhadrachalam stands testimony for the holy Bhakthi yoga of the Hindu religion . Sri Ramadaas has submitted himself to the Holy feet of Sri Rama and the result is witnessed by everyone including the Nawaab of Golconda Tanesha of that time.
As a continuing testimony the Andhra Pradesh government is continuing the tradition of carrying the pearls for talmbralu to Bhadrachalam during the annual kalyanotsavam of Sri Rama and Srimati Sita at Badrachalam. This tradition is in continuation of the Golconda Nawabs respect for the Hindu Religion.
