Siddheshvari Devi ji

Siddheshvari Deviji fondly called Didiji, a disciple of Jagatguru Kripaluji Maharaj

Pranams at the holy feet of our beloved Didi ji. Siddheshvari Devi ji (fondly known as “Didi ji”) was born in India in a Punjab family. Her parents moved to Canada when she was quite a young girl. One particular incident during her childhood – the death of her relative – had made an indelible impression on her mind, and she realized the impermanence of this body and the need to pursue the true purpose of life, which is much higher than mere mundane existence.

During her spiritual formative years in Canada, she fell in love with Lord Sri Krishna, and would spend hours together in the Krishna Mandir (Temple) of ISCKON, chanting his name and praying for a Guru who would lead her further in her quest for Krishna. She was not satisfied with the answers that local temple priests gave to her questions, and continued her prayers for the most knowledgeable, kind and loving Guru. During this time, she graduated from York University in Toronto with a degree in languages. During this time also, a disciple of Jagadguru Sri Kripalu Maharaj has arrived in Toronto, as an answer to her prayers. This disciple had given Sri Kripalu ji’s literature to Did ji and guided her to her Spiritual Guru. Internally guided by God, she felt that the time has come for her to give up the routine materialistic life of just eating, sleeping and accumulating wealth, and pursue the highest purpose of life – Realizing Krishna. In the meanwhile, she was offered a financially rewarding career in Europe. She had given up and renounced the world to seek her Guru in Barsana village of India, which is also the birthplace of Mother Radha Rani. Didi ji spent two years in the Ashram and learned directly from her Gurudev, the intricate mysteries of Vedas and Shastras.

Didi ji is a personification of love for her Guru and Lord Krishna. Her Bhajans are melodious and transport one to the beautiful and serene Brindavan and Madhura. Didi ji quotes from many scriptural texts and is ever ready to help any seeker. Her talks are simply motivating and inspiring as one can easily relate to daily life of Sadhana. They are designed to answer the numerous questions that arise on spirituality and clarify doubts about the path of God realization. Through her simple examples, she drives the point home and makes a long-lasting impression on the seekers. Seekers remember her quotes very often during their normal life and feel motivated to apply them. Equally proficient in English and Hindi, she has inspired and transformed the lives of thousands.

Under the banner of RADHA MADHAV SOCIETY, a non-profit charitable Organization, functioning under the auspices of JAGADGURU KRIPALU PARISHAD, Didi ji is continuously striving to spread the message of Hinduism and dispel the myths and misconceptions related to it. An eloquent speaker, her mission is to simplify the eternal message of the Vedas and Shastras and awaken love for God within the hearts of seeking souls. Did ji’s teaching is concentrated in the US, Canada, the West Indies, Singapore, and Malaysia.

  1. Didi,

Pranam. Please guide me like a sister.
Please let me know how to love Krishna and Maharaj ji more. How to cry constantly for them.

  2. Didi Pranam,
Is it possible to ralize god while participating in physical world.
    another doubt..

  3. Radhey Radhey, Kaberi !

A mother never has to ask how to love her child. She loves him because she knows that he is her child. She accepts him as her own flesh and blood. Similarly, the devotee does not need to ask how to love Krishna and the disciple has no need to ask how to love the Guru more and more. The more your mind accepts God (and Guru) to be your one and only, the more love there will be in the heart for Him.

    In God’s love,
    Didi Ji

It is definitely possible to realize God while living in the material world. The illiterate milkmaids of Vrindavan, known as the gopis, are the greatest proof that a married woman (or man) with children can attain God.

Though living in the world, the devotee must not become completely absorbed in the world. He must spend some precious time communicating with God, reading holy books, associating with Godly souls and breaking away from the usual routine from time to time to attend spiritual retreats.

    In God’s Love,
    Didi Ji

God is equal to all living beings. He is a neutral judge who imparts justice and gives fruits of one’s actions. The amount of wealth an individual gets in life is not decided by God but by our previous actions.

Garud Puran states, “If a human does not give charity, he is born in abject poverty in the next life. To feed himself he commits crimes and sins, as a result of which he is made to suffer the torments of Narak. Once he is out he is once again born in poverty.”

We cannot blame a judge for imparting justice.

    In God’s Love,
    Didi Ji

  6. Radhey Radhey Didi:

I am a neophyte devotee. I have a weird problem: I am prone to having breakdowns of faith once in a while owing to spurious information being spread about my revered Guru and his disciples. I try to avoid it but since I have not had the fortune of close association with Shree Maharajji my mind plays tricks on me. I love Him very much and at the same time being a new devotee do not know how to strengthen my faith – I can only take solace in the fact that He has made me think about my Lord in a way nobody else ever did (and believe me I made an attempt to find a Guru for a good five years when a good friend miraculously introduced me to Shree Maharajji and the Philosophy of Divine Love). Please forgive me for being this way and kindly help me. I mean no offense , I am only looking to be guided because I really want to meet Shree Maharajji and follow Him everywhere and do not want to jeopardise that possibility with any kind of Namapraadh.

  7. Didi Ji I have different opinion then yours first their is no Narak or hell kind of thing in god’s country. God is giver and he can just give you can not offer anything to him because everything belong to him so how we can offer which we don’t own.

As said we are God’d sons and doughters and he love equally but he has given you a chance to prove your worth if you are a good soul or bad soul and he created lot of diversion “Maya” to make the picture interesting for him to watch, if we get involved in movie we will forget our work for which we took birth so and if we work as a casual spectator and focus on our work we will all do good.

Remember what Krishna says to Arjun to become Karmayogi do your work honestly and help god to make his work easier.

You can always realize god in this life and that is why you are here be just a karmyogi. You just need a real guru.

  9. RADHE RADHE DIDI

    IS IT RIGHT ?

  10. RESPECTED SHRI KRIPALUJI MAHARAH, RESPECTED DIDI-JI,
PRANAAM, MAY YOU CONTINUE TO SPREAD SWEET NAME OF SRI KRISHNA AND SPREAD HIS TEACHINGS TO ALL THE DIRECTIONS OF THE EARTH.
PRANAAM ONCE AGAIN. CHATURBHUJ L. GURNANI, MUMBAI
